The Beginning

If you come to Australia in November, you may notice that our aussie blokes seem to have a penchant for sporting the old flavour saver below their nose. This isn't just a fashion trend, as delicious (in every sense of the word) as moustaches may be, these particular mo's (if not already sported before November) are part of a nation wide participation in the charity event of Movember - where men wear their mo's with pride to raise awareness of prostate cancer, which has a growing trend of fatality and effects the lives of so many families in its wake. So this year i thought, why can't i wear a moustache too? i can't actually grow a mo, unfortunately the woman within me just wont allow for that, so i am going to either paint a moustache on, or wear a fakey for the entire month of November. This is where i will document my mo'vements (get it?). Who knows what will happen? I'm not entirely sure where this will take me, what kind of situations i will be put into as a result of it and i think that's the most exciting part of it. My intention is to bring awareness to Movember and i think this is achievable because i am a girl, so by default i'm going to attract some attention anyway! Hopefully from this i'll be getting people to think about what they can do to help and hopefully get some donations happening along the way!
